Hi, I’m Steven, the founder of Advertageous. My passion for both social media marketing and the fitness industry began during my time as a university student, when I became fascinated by how social media could shape and grow gym businesses. However, I quickly realized that many gym owners see social media marketing as one of the least impactful aspects of their business growth. That’s why I started Advertageous—with the goal of helping gym owners not only attract new members but also build thriving, loyal fitness communities through the power of social media.

Certifications

With certifications in social media marketing, and additional qualifications such as a Cert II in Engineering Pathways, Cert III in Manufacturing Technology, and even HSK 6 in Chinese, I bring a unique blend of creativity, technical skills, and a global perspective to every project. These diverse experiences allow me to approach marketing strategies from innovative, data-driven angles that deliver real results for gym businesses.

Current Endeavours

In addition to my studies in civil engineering, I work as a teaching assistant, which has enhanced my communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly. I also gain valuable customer service experience as an employee at Woolworths, further honing my understanding of client needs and how to build strong relationships. These roles complement my marketing efforts, allowing me to connect with gym owners on a deeper level.
